Srafelagi aggregates job listings from public sources (EthioJobs, GeezJobs, Afriwork, Telegram channels, and others). This policy explains what information we handle when you use this website and how.
Information we collect
- Browsing without an account: You can browse and search jobs without signing up. Jobs you save while signed out are stored only in your browser (localStorage).
- Accounts: If you sign in with Google, Telegram or email, we store your name, email or Telegram ID, and your saved jobs so they sync across your devices.
- Job alerts: If you subscribe to job alerts, we store your email address, keywords and preferred frequency. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link.
- Job posts by employers: When a company submits a job, we store the job details, contact information and payment screenshot so we can review and publish it.
- Career assistant: Messages and CVs you send to the assistant are processed to answer you and may be stored to improve the service.
- Usage: Our server logs standard access data (e.g. IP address, time, requested URL) for security and operations, and we count job views and apply clicks to show which jobs are popular.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep Srafelagi free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

We may also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects anonymised usage data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your email address or CV with employers unless you choose to apply to them.
Job listings and external sites
Job details and application links point to external websites (employers, job boards, Telegram). Those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for how they collect or use your data when you apply or visit them.
Your choices
You can delete your saved jobs at any time, unsubscribe from alerts from any alert email, and ask us to delete your account data by emailing info@srafelagi.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do.
