Senior Mechanic
Certificate or Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study with relevant work experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems and identify the causes of vehicle faults.
- Perform major and minor engine repairs, servicing, and maintenance.
- Repair and maintain braking, suspension, steering, transmission, cooling, and fuel systems.
- Perform engine oil, filter, belt, and other routine maintenance services.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electronic faults.
- Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs or preventive maintenance.
