Addis Bank S.C wants to recruit employees in the following vacant positions. AdB is established by diversified groups of shareholders, Cooperatives, Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), Iddirs, other business organizations and individual citizens.
The Cooperatives are mainly engaged in the provision of financial services, export business, manufacturing and services. The members of the major shareholders are mainly low and middle income citizens.
Position 1: Attorney Job Requirements:
- Bachelorβs Degree in Law or other closely related fields.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 1 year must be in junior attorney position.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of Manager, Litigation and Foreclosure Division, participates in the development or revision of standard contractual forms and other documents that have legal ramification on the Bank; handles and processes foreclosure cases; prepares statements of claim and defense and other pleadings; renders legal opinions; attends to court cases and systematically maintains legal files and documents.

- Bachelorβs degree or Police College Diploma in Police Science, Security Management, Security & Risk Management, or closely related fieldsMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry
Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Manager, General Services and Security Division, supervises all security guards engaged in the safety and security of the Bankβs headquarters and branches; prepares daily weekly or monthly shift schedules and general deployment of guards; ensures that guards are posted at the appropriate check points; submits daily reports on security matters.

Position 4: Branch Manager I
Job Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting & Finance/Banking/ Management or other closely related fields.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience; out of which 2 years in supervisory role or equivalent positions.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, District Office, the Branch Manager plans, organizes, directs and controls, activities of a Branch designated as small to medium; approves loans, overdraft facilities, local and foreign transfers within discretionary and approved limits; handles foreign exchange transactions; reviews business and financial background of loan and guarantee applicants; prepares reports on the activities of the branch.
