Healthcare Marketing Specialist & Content Creator

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced, creative marketer to plan campaigns and create health content for Manaaki and our clients, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and health brands.

Responsibilities
• Plan and run marketing campaigns for healthcare clients
• Create health content for social media, websites, blogs and videos
• Turn medical information into clear, simple, engaging content
• Work with doctors and health experts to verify content accuracy
• Ensure all content follows health advertising rules (incl. EFDA), ethics and patient privacy
• Follow social media trends and track campaign results

Requirements
• Background in health sciences, nursing, pharmacy or public health
• 2+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing (mandatory)
• Strong writing skills and basic medical knowledge
• Experience creating social media content
• Excellent English; proficiency in Amharic
• Understanding of patient privacy and health advertising regulations
• Portfolio of healthcare content or campaigns

A Plus
• Video editing or graphic design skills
• Experience using AI tools for content creation
