AI Content Producer & Media Specialist

Location: Hawassa City, Ethiopia — Hybrid preferred; Remote considered

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, motivated, independent, and technology-oriented AI Content Producer & Media Specialist to help build and grow an AI-powered digital media business.

The role covers the full content lifecycle: research → concept → scripting → production → editing → publishing → analytics → improvement. You will use AI and digital-media tools to create engaging content for YouTube and social-media platforms and help build efficient, scalable production workflows.

Key Responsibilities
• Research topics, trends, audiences, competitors, and content opportunities.
• Develop concepts, hooks, scripts, titles, and story structures.
• Use AI tools for research, writing, image/video generation, voiceovers, editing, and automation.
• Produce and edit short- and long-form video content, including thumbnails, graphics, captions, and other media.
• Publish and optimize content across YouTube and social platforms.
• Monitor views, retention, engagement, and other performance metrics.
• Test topics, formats, hooks, thumbnails, and strategies to improve audience growth.
• Maintain content schedules, templates, and organized project files.
• Stay current with AI tools, media technologies, and social-media trends.
• Develop repeatable AI-assisted workflows for efficient, high-quality content production.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 2 years of computer/digital technology experience.
• Fluent English and Amharic with strong communication skills.
• Strong interest in AI, digital media, YouTube, and content creation.
• Experience with ChatGPT or similar AI tools; knowledge of AI video, image, audio, voice, or automation tools is a plus.
• Video editing experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong research, writing, storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Able to learn quickly, follow instructions, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable experimenting with new technologies and using data to improve content.
• Portfolio or samples of relevant work strongly preferred.

Compensation

Trial Period — Up to 3 Months
• ETB 20,000/month

After Successful Trial
• Up to ETB 25,000/month, based on performance and experience.
• Up to 7% equity, subject to company terms and vesting.
• Annual bonus of up to 7% of net company profit, based on individual and company performance.
