Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions
- Conduct routine medical examinations and monitor children’s physical, emotional, and developmental progress
- Provide preventive healthcare services
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions and respond to medical emergencies promptly
- Educate and counsel parents/guardians on nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and child safety
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
