This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity designed for recent Civil Engineering graduates seeking hands-on exposure to U.S. construction estimating practices, quantity takeoffs, and project bidding.
Position: Entry-Level Construction Estimator (Remote) Qualifications & Requirements Education:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering ONLY Graduation Year:Must be a 2018 Ethiopian Calendar (E.C.) graduate Technical Knowledge:Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and methods Skills:Strong numerical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency with computers Communication:Solid written and spoken English communication skills Workstation Requirements:
- Personal, reliable computer suitable for daily work
- High-speed, stable internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated home workspace
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
- Assist in performing quantity takeoffs and material counts
- Identify and organize material and equipment requirements
- Request, compile, and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Draft basic cost estimates and client proposals
- Assist senior estimators with complete bid preparation packages
- Maintain structured estimating files, databases, and project records
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Ethiopia Local Time) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Location: Remote – Ethiopia Deadline: September 14, 2026
