Position: ACS intern on Data Analysis Qualifications:
(a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
(b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Completion of a master’s degree or enrollment in a Ph.D. program in a development-related field are strongly desirable. NA
Key Responsibilities
- Profile use cases for emerging data sources and evaluate their suitability for addressing data gaps.
- Assist in compiling metadata from national and international statistical websites.
- Support the harmonization and comparability of African development indicators across multiple databases.
- Contribute to the development of statistical tools that automate analytical processes.
- Provide recommendations on modern tools for visualizing statistical results.
- Prepare statistical summaries, methodologies, and key analytical findings.
- Support statistical data compilation, analysis, and economic data management.
- Assist with research activities for policy-oriented analytical work.
- Contribute to dashboard development and data management tools.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and background materials.
- Support capacity-building initiatives and training activities.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining standardized datasets and statistical records.
