5 Million Ethiopian Coders Initiative Expands to 7 Million Participants:
The
5 Million Ethiopian Coders Initiative has officially expanded to 7 million participants, surpassing its original target ahead of schedule. The announcement was made by UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, highlighting the success of the strategic partnership between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the minister, the initiative’s rapid growth reflects the strong cooperation between the two countries in promoting digital skills, government modernization, and innovation. He noted that the Ethiopia–UAE partnership has produced significant achievements in supporting digital transformation, developing human capital, and strengthening collaboration across multiple sectors.
Prime Minister
Abiy Ahmed (PhD) welcomed the achievement, describing it as a major milestone in Ethiopia’s digital transformation journey. He expressed appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its continued strategic partnership and support in building digital skills across the country.
Upon completion of this training, you will receive an internationally accepted certificate. The course is given online and all you need is a mobile phone or laptop and internet.
