Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting systems.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Support payroll processing and ensure accurate salary calculations.
Assist in bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
Monitor project-based expenses and cost allocations (particularly for construction projects).
Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and expense reports.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in VAT and withholding tax reporting.
Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems.
Support senior accountants and finance managers in audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of accounting experience (construction or project-based accounting experience preferred).
Familiarity with construction cost tracking, project budgeting, and contract payments is an advantage.
Knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations, VAT, and withholding tax procedures.
