Abay Bank S.C. invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.
The Bank is poised to serve all economic sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services, international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction and real estate sectors.
Position 1: Branch Manager – Grade – 1
Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or other business-related field of study with 6 years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 2(two) years in supervisory position. Salary: per the Bank’s Scale. Place of Work: For Branches under Hawassa District
(Butajira and Balerobe); For Branches under Diredawa District
Kulbi,Kezira,Deder(East Hararge), Daruselam and Aksa IFB Branches(Jigjiga)
Position 2: Chief Security Officer
Required Education and Experience: BA in Police Science from police college with a minimum of 5(Five) years’ work experience in security/military activities. He/she is responsible to supervise and coordinates the security operations and activities in the Bank. The job holder ensures that the security force of the bank is performing well, studies, proposes and introduces improved methods of security system/techniques/, follow up outsourced security guards, coordinates patrol and monitors security activities of the bank at all levels Salary: per the Bank’s Scale. Place of Work: Head Office
Position 3: Branch Manager – Grade – 1 (IFB)
Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or other business-related field of study with 6(Six) years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 2(two) years in supervisory position. Salary: per the Bank’s Scale. Place of Work: IFB Branches under Addis Ababa area Application Deadline: July 24, 2026.
