Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee exit-end equipment, including tension reels, coil cars, scrap choppers, shears, and strapping machines according to SOPs.
- Monitor strip tracking, exit tension, and winding quality continuously to prevent telescoping, scratches, or interleaving defects.
- Lead execution of preventive maintenance routines on exit-end machinery, including mandrel segments, belt wrappers, and shear blades.
- Enforce safety protocols for handling heavy coils, automated coil cars, and high-speed shearing/strapping equipment.
