Junior Coffee and Grain Processing Machine Operator
TVET Level III or Diploma in Machine Technology, Agricultural Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, or with related field of study with relevant work experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in operating coffee hullers, graders, color sorters, cleaners, and destoners under supervision.
- Monitor machine behavior and report irregularities or processing defects to senior staff.
- Support alignment and setup of processing, roasting, or packaging equipment before production runs.
- Report mechanical faults, unusual vibrations, or performance issues immediately.
- Follow food safety guidelines (e.g., HACCP), sanitary procedures, and wear required PPE during operations.
