Senior Coffee and Grain Processing Machine Operator
TVET Level III or Diploma in Machine Technology, Agricultural Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, or with related field of study with relevant work experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in operating coffee hullers, graders, color sorters, cleaners, and destoners under supervision.
- Monitor machine behavior and report irregularities or processing defects to senior staff.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance such as cleaning dust collectors, lubrication, and tightening conveyor components.
- Follow food safety guidelines (e.g., HACCP), sanitary procedures, and wear required PPE during operations.
- Ensure maintenance tools and spare parts are handled and stored properly.
