Our Company delivers orders placed on Our company's Marketplace to customers across Addis Ababa. As a rider, you are the face of our company at the customer's door. You will pick up orders from vendors and deliver them safely and on time, using our rider app.

Key Responsibilities
• Accept and complete shipments assigned through the rider app and dispatch team.
• Pick up orders from vendors, check them against the order details, and report any problems.
• Deliver orders to customers safely, on time and with a polite, professional attitude.
• Collect cash on delivery accurately and hand it over to Finance as per company procedure.
• Record proof of delivery (photo, signature or confirmation code) in the app.
• Keep the dispatcher updated on delays, wrong addresses, unreachable customers and failed deliveries.
• Handle returns and redeliveries as instructed.
• Follow traffic rules and safety standards, and wear a helmet and the company’s uniform at all times.
• Keep the motorbike, delivery bag and company equipment clean and in good condition.
• Attend rider briefings and training sessions, and be on time for your shifts.

Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a motorbike rider, courier or in delivery (an equivalent amount of riding experience is acceptable).
• Good knowledge of Addis Ababa roads, areas and landmarks.
• Able to use a smartphone and mobile apps (training provided).
• Honest, trustworthy and responsible with cash and customer goods.
• Good communication in Amharic. Basic English is an advantage.
• Polite, punctual and able to stay calm with difficult customers.
• Willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Clean record and ability to provide a guarantor and valid ID.

Advantages (not required)
• Experience with a delivery or e-commerce company.
• Own a smartphone.
• Basic motorbike maintenance skills.
