We are looking for a qualified and experienced One-to-One School Support Assistant to work closely with a young child in a school setting.

Requirements:
• Educational background in Psychology, Special Needs Education, Inclusive Education, Behavioral Therapy, or a related field.
• Previous experience working as a Special Needs Assistant or Shadow Teacher in a school.
• Practical experience in behavioral therapy and positive behavior support.
• Experience supporting children with emotional regulation, impulse control, frustration management, and social interaction challenges.
• Ability to identify behavioral triggers and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
• Knowledge of positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Good communication, patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in child development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support throughout the school day.
• Help the child develop emotional regulation, self-control, and positive social skills.
• Support classroom participation, peer interaction, and independence.
• Identify and address challenging behaviors using appropriate behavioral strategies.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents and teachers.
• Gradually encourage independence and reduce reliance on one-to-one assistance.

Important: We are looking for someone with practical hands-on experience, not simply a classroom caregiver. The ideal candidate should be able to combine educational support with behavioral intervention to help the child develop confidence, independence, and positive social skills.
