Branch Manager

Dil Sacco is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced professional to join our team as a Branch Manager.

Job Title: Branch Manager

Department: Branch Operations

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the branch.

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve savings mobilization, membership growth, share sales, and loan disbursement targets.

• Supervise and motivate branch staff to achieve individual and branch targets.

• Ensure excellent customer/member service and build strong relationships with members.

• Monitor loan applications, disbursements, collections, and portfolio quality.

• Ensure proper implementation of SACCO policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Identify business opportunities and actively promote Dil SACCO products and services.

• Monitor branch financial and operational performance and prepare regular reports.

• Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of cash and financial records.

• Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with applicable Dil SACCO regulations.

• Resolve customer/member complaints professionally and promptly.

• Coordinate with Head Office departments to improve branch performance.

• Represent Dil SACCO professionally within the branch’s business community.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in SACCOs, microfinance institutions, banks, or financial services.

• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.

• Strong experience in savings mobilization, lending, customer/member relationship management, and business development.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and financial targets.
