We are seeking an experienced and results-driven finance professional to lead and oversee the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate will take ownership of financial management, accounting systems, budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance while providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial Leadership: Lead the overall finance function, oversee accounting operations, and ensure effective financial management.
• Accounting Management: Supervise general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
• Peachtree System Management: Oversee financial operations using Peachtree Accounting (Sage 50), ensuring system accuracy, proper configuration, and reliable financial data.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial performance reports.
• Budgeting & Planning: Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and advise management on cost control and resource allocation.
• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, income tax, and pension obligations.
• Payroll & Auditing: Oversee payroll processes and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Internal Controls: Establish and strengthen financial policies, procedures, and risk management systems.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide finance staff, ensuring accountability, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior finance or management position.
• Software: Advanced and hands-on proficiency in Peachtree Accounting (Sage 50) is mandatory. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax regulations, financial compliance, GAAP/IFRS, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead finance teams and independently manage an organization's financial operations.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, strategic planning, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Integrity: High level of professionalism, accountability, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
