Position: Spare Parts Storekeeper / Inventory Controller
JAB Engineering and Business PLC is looking for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Spare Parts Storekeeper / Inventory Controller to manage our heavy machinery spare parts inventory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, counting, storing, issuing, and monitoring spare parts to ensure accurate inventory records and continuous availability of essential spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receive newly purchased and imported spare parts and verify quantities against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
2. Inspect received items for correct part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and visible damage.
3. Properly arrange, label, and store spare parts in designated warehouse locations.
4. Record all incoming and outgoing spare parts in the inventory system.
5. Monitor stock levels and identify items that are running low or out of stock.
6. Prepare daily or weekly stock reports and low-stock notifications.
7. Conduct regular physical stock counts and compare them with system records.
8. Prepare spare parts requisitions for replenishment.
9. Ensure proper documentation for every spare part received or issued.
10. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the warehouse.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Previous experience in warehouse management, storekeeping, or inventory control is an advantage.
