Diploma or Certificate in Road Construction Maintenance and Management, Civil & Urban Engineering or in any related field of study with relevant work experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare the surface for paving: cleaning, patching, and tack coat or prime coat application
- Supervise asphalt laying, including paver operation, spreading, and joints
- Control mix temperature, layer thickness, and compaction with roller operators
- Supervise concrete mixing, placing, vibrating, and curing
- Build culverts, headwalls, retaining walls, and masonry or gabion works
- Check dimensions and levels with the surveyor and engineer
- Coordinate with the plant and the haulage trucks for timely delivery of the mix
