What you will do
Keep the company’s books complete and up to date in the accounting system
Prepare the monthly profit and loss for each product and deliver it by the 10th
Run monthly payroll, including income tax and pension
Prepare and file VAT, withholding tax and income tax returns on time
Reconcile bank and Telebirr accounts every week
Send a weekly cash report to the General Manager every Monday
Prepare year-end financial statements and work with the external auditor
Supervise and review the work of the Junior Accountant
Requirements
BA degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance
At least 3 years of accounting experience,
Hands-on experience filing Ethiopian VAT, withholding and payroll taxes
Working knowledge of IFRS for SMEs
Peachtree or QuickBooks, and strong Excel
Nice to have: experience in a technology
