Experience: Senior
Vacancies: 2
Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Safety Management Systems, Structural Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced Equipment Operation & Site Setup
- Drive and operate heavy concrete pump trucks to assigned complex job sites in compliance with all traffic laws and transport regulations.
- Conduct rigorous pre- and post-trip engineering inspections of truck chassis, pump units, gearboxes, and power take-off (PTO) systems.
- Execute advanced site risk assessments to determine safe outrigger positioning, ground bearing pressures, slope stability, and hazard clearances.
- Design, layout, and secure high-pressure pipeline configurations, including rubber hoses, steel pipes, reducers, and clamps, tailored to structural placement requirements.
- Operate pump controls with high precision to deliver concrete smoothly to designated architectural or structural locations, maintaining uniform flow and mitigating blockages or line surges.
2. Operational Coordination & Communication
- Establish direct, flawless communication channels with site placement crews, placing booms, and mixer truck drivers to guarantee uninterrupted, high-efficiency pours.
- Monitor concrete mix workability, slump consistency, and aggregate sizing in real-time, instantly identifying potential pump ability issues before blockages occur.
- Enforce strict pumping parameters to protect structural integrity during high-pressure or high-rise placement operations.
3. Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Safety Protocol
- Inspect, clean, pressure-wash, and maintain the concrete pump, hopper, S-valve, pipeline networks, and related tools thoroughly after every shift.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues independently or coordinate specialized repairs swiftly.
- Adhere unconditionally to all site safety protocols, mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, and environmental containment regulations, actively identifying and reporting workplace hazards.
- Maintain flawless operational logs, daily equipment inspection checklists, volume tracking records, and timesheets.
Strict Conduct & Disciplinary Policy (Non-Negotiable)
4. Operational Negligence & Equipment Damage
- Operating equipment under improper parameters, failing to execute safe washout procedures, or causing severe blockages and equipment damage due to negligence will result in strict disciplinary action.
- Consequences include financial accountability for damaged parts, formal written warnings, or immediate termination depending on severity and recurrence.
5. Substance Abuse & Safety Violations
- The use, possession, or influence of alcohol, hallucinogens, narcotics, or unauthorized drugs while on duty or on company property is strictly prohibited.
- Mandatory random drug and alcohol screenings will be enforced; refusal or failure will result in immediate, unappeasable termination.
6. Safety Non-Compliance & Misconduct
Bypassing safety interlocks, failing to deploy outrigger pads correctly, or demonstrating insubordination toward project supervisors or clients will lead to immediate suspension or termination.
7.Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent technical certification.
- License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an impeccable, clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven, documented experience operating high-capacity truck-mounted concrete pumps on major structural, industrial, or high-rise construction projects.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced mastery of concrete pump systems, high-pressure hydraulics, electronic control modules, and complex mechanical troubleshooting.
- Blueprint Literacy: Exceptional ability to read structural site plans, architectural drawings, and pipeline routing schematics.
- Physical Fitness: High physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy steel/rubber hoses, climbing elevated machinery components, and enduring strenuous activity over long working hours.
- Safety & Compliance: Comprehensive awareness of rigorous job site safety protocols, hazard mitigation, and standard operational compliance.
8.Preferred Certifications
- Professional Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation or Hydraulic Systems.
- OSHA Safety Training or advanced site safety credentials.
9.Work Environment
- Demanding outdoor conditions on active, fast-paced construction sites involving exposure to heavy equipment, high noise levels, dust, and varying weather extremes.
- Requires acute physical endurance, safe manual handling of heavy hoses, and rapid response under high pressure construction schedules.
