We are a new consumer insight company in Addis Ababa. We help brands understand what is happening in shops: prices, stock, and how products are sold.

We are hiring Field Data Mappers to visit shops, supermarkets, showrooms and markets across Addis Ababa and collect accurate price, stock and display data using a mobile app. You will work across product categories, from consumer goods to electronics. This is a field role for someone who is organised, honest with data, and comfortable talking to shop owners and salespeople.

What you will do
• Visit an assigned list of retail outlets each day, from neighbourhood shops and supermarkets to showrooms and dealers.
• Record outlet details, product prices, stock availability and display information in a mobile form.
• Take clear photos and capture GPS location for every visit.
• Act as an ordinary customer during mystery shopping visits and record what salespeople recommend.
• Build friendly working relationships with shop owners so return visits go smoothly.
• Submit complete data by the end of each day and flag anything unusual to the team.
• Join a short daily check in with the team.
