Monthly Compensation: 18,000 ETB, with additional performance-based bonuses.
Job Description
We are looking for a fluent Amharic speaker with good English communication skills to teach Amharic to an English-speaking adult who is a complete beginner.
The main goal is to help the student develop practical, everyday conversational Amharic so he can communicate confidently in daily situations.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Teach Amharic from absolute beginner level.
- Focus on everyday conversations, speaking, listening, pronunciation, and practical expressions.
- Explain lessons clearly in English.
- Prepare simple, structured lessons and practical exercises.
- Track progress and adapt lessons to the student's learning pace.
- Previous experience teaching Amharic to foreigners or English-speaking adults is preferred.
