- Meeting patients to assess their health concerns, conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and diagnose illnesses.
- Creating and implementing treatment plans, which might involve prescribing medications, recommending therapies, or referring patients to specialists for further evaluation.
- Emphasizing preventive care, offering advice on healthy lifestyle choices, conducting routine screenings, and administering vaccinations.
- Managing ongoing health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, etc., forms a significant part of their responsibilities. They monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
