Job Description

Conduct daily site visits to monitor the progress of contractors and maintenance staff.

• Ensure that materials delivered to the site match the specifications approved by the Senior Engineer.

• Identify and report any deviations from the structural drawings or safety hazards immediately.

• Supervise minor repairs such as tiling, masonry work, painting, and waterproofing in guest rooms and public areas.

Assist in preparing and updating Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates for small repair works.

• Perform basic drafting and modifications of site layouts using AutoCAD.

• Maintain an organized filing system for project photos, site diaries, and material test results.

• Prepare weekly progress reports for the Technical Department.

Assist in the "Preventive Maintenance Program" by inspecting building structures for signs of wear, cracks, or drainage blockages.

• Work closely with the Plumbing and Electrical teams to coordinate civil works (e.g., opening walls for pipe repairs and ensuring proper finishing afterwards).

• Follow up on "Maintenance Requests" submitted by the Housekeeping or Front Office departments.

Ensure that all workers on-site wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure guest safety and minimize the impact on hotel operations.
