Cashier

About the Role
Isat Burger is looking for a sharp, energetic, and customer-oriented Cashier / Order Taker to join our team at Summit Fiyel Bet. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, managing transactions smoothly and ensuring every customer has a great dining experience.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate dine-in and takeout orders, and guide them through the menu with confidence
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and digital payments efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Resolve customer inquiries or order adjustments quickly, handle busy rushes calmly, and troubleshoot minor checkout issues
- Communicate orders clearly and efficiently to kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
- Keep the front counter, cashier station, and dining area clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous experience as a cashier, receptionist, or customer service role in a restaurant or fast-food setting is a strong plus
- Must reside around Summit Fiyel Bet or easily accessible nearby neighborhoods
- Strong basic math, money management, and cash-handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle pressure during peak hours
- Good command of Amharic; English proficiency is an added advantage
