About Cabby ET

Cabby ET is an innovative ride-sharing technology company preparing to launch its transportation services in Ethiopia. Our mission is to provide affordable, reliable, safe, and convenient transportation through modern technology.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Managing Director to lead our company through its launch, build a strong team, and manage all day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Operations

• Oversee and manage all daily business operations.

• Develop and implement strategies for a successful company launch.

• Establish operating procedures, policies, and performance standards.

• Provide leadership and direction to all departments.

Recruitment & Employee Management

• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage employees.

• Oversee dispatchers, customer service representatives, sales teams, operations staff, and driver recruitment teams.

• Establish employee responsibilities, performance targets, and accountability.

• Build a strong and productive organization.

Business Development & Growth

• Develop strategies to attract drivers and passengers.

• Lead marketing and customer acquisition efforts.

• Establish business partnerships and identify growth opportunities.

• Drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Financial & Performance Management

• Manage company budgets and control operational expenses.

• Monitor revenue, profitability, and business performance.

• Provide regular operational and financial reports to company ownership.

Technology & Customer Experience

• Coordinate with the technology team to ensure reliable app performance.

• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction.

• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of management or leadership experience.

• Experience in transportation, ride-sharing, logistics, or technology companies is highly preferred.

• Strong leadership, recruitment, and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for company operations.

• Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian business environment.

• Fluency in Amharic and English.
