Video Editor (2 Positions): Remote, Daily Work

About the role
We're hiring 2 short-form video editors in Addis Ababa. Each editor makes 5 videos a day, works remotely, and meets us once a week.
• Editor 1: Personal brand account (Amharic vlogs, lifestyle, gym, make-money-online)
• Editor 2: Business account (promotional and brand content)

Responsibilities
• Edit 5 short videos daily from the footage we send
• Keep the pacing fast, cut pauses, and add strong hooks
• Add accurate Amharic captions, B-roll, zoom effects, music, and sound effects
• Export vertical (9:16) videos by the daily deadline
• Apply revisions quickly and keep files organized on Google Drive
• Attend a weekly in-person meeting in Addis Ababa

Required skills
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve (phone-only editors won't be considered)
• Good Amharic reading and writing for captions
• Ability to follow a style guide and edit in a fast, polished style
• Consistent daily delivery

Preferred
• 1-2 years of experience and a portfolio of 3 short-form videos
• Motion graphics experience
• Own laptop and stable internet
