About the Role
LetSequoia Coffee Export One Member PLC is seeking a part-time Amharic Tutor to teach Amharic to adults or non-native speakers. The schedule is onsite from Monday to Saturday, starting at 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM as agreed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Amharic language lessons to adults or non-native speakers
- Prepare lessons and manage teaching time effectively
- Use English communication skills to explain lessons where necessary
- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and adaptable teaching methods
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Amharic, Ethiopian Languages, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Previous experience teaching Amharic to adults or non-native speakers
- Excellent spoken and written Amharic, with good English communication skills
- Strong communication, patience, lesson preparation, and time management skills
