Position: Senior Accountant

1. Key Responsibilities

2. Educational Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience, preferably including senior-level responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation.

• Demonstrated experience in advanced financial reporting, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.

• Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience coordinating audits and maintaining effective internal controls.

• Experience supervising accounting staff is an advantage.

3. Technical and Professional Skills

• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Peachtree.

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management skills.

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills.

• High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
