Financial Reporting:Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial regulations.
• Tax Compliance: Knowledge of tax calculations, VAT, withholding tax, and tax reporting requirements in Ethiopia.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Ability to prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze budget variances.
• Bank Reconciliation: Ability to reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Experience managing supplier payments, customer collections, and outstanding balances.
• Inventory Accounting: Ability to reconcile physical stock with accounting and ERP records.
• ERP Systems: Experience using accounting software or ERP systems, such as CNET, SAP, or other relevant platforms.
• Microsoft Excel: Strong skills in formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis.
• Internal Controls: Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prevent errors, fraud, and financial losses.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in recording transactions and preparing reports.
• Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to supervise junior accountants and coordinate with other departments.
• Time Management: Ability to meet financial reporting deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
