Agriterra is the world’s leading not-for-profit agri-agency from-and-for agricultural cooperatives and farmer organizations. Our mission is to strengthen organized farmers in developing and emerging countries, given the importance of effectively organized farmers to sustainably address food security, economic development, climate adaptation and mitigation.
We are financed and work via donor-granted projects and programs. These long-lasting strategic partnerships with a variety of donors are key for us in our day-to-day work.
Position: Data Analyst Intern Education: University degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Knowledge: Data recording, database management, data cleaning and quality assurance, and basic M&E and KPI tracking. Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience; internship, volunteer or academic project experience in data management or M&E will be considered. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Competencies: Flexible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving, analytical, report-writing, communication, interpersonal, and networking skills; committed to achieving results. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom, and strong in Excel. Experience with KoboToolbox or similar data collection tools is an advantage. Languages: Fluent in English and Amharic; knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage. Competencies
