We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join a growing team at a leading Import and Export company. In this role, you will support senior engineers and project teams with civil design, drafting, material evaluations, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities and Role

1. Engineering Design and Drafting

Technical Drawing: Prepare precise 2D technical drawings, layouts, and standard detail sheets using AutoCAD.

3D Modeling: Assist in building and updating 3D engineering models using Revit for design verification and spatial layout.

Drawing Revisions: Update CAD/Revit files based on design changes, redlines, and project feedback.

2. Technical Documentation and Material Review

Quantity Take offs: Perform basic calculations for material quantities, volumes, and structural specifications.

Documentation and BOQs: Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material schedules, and technical specification data sheets.

Standards Compliance: Review project drawings, catalogs, and technical submittals to ensure alignment with standard engineering codes.

3. Technical Coordination and Site Support

Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to exchange technical information and design details.

Site Inspections: Participate in site visits or inspections to review ongoing works, material deliveries, and drawing compliance.

RFI Tracking: Help log, track, and draft responses for Requests for Information (RFIs) and material approvals.

4. File Management and Reporting

Document Control: Maintain an organized archive of all engineering drawings, model files, and technical records.

Progress Tracking: Help draft routine progress reports, site notes, and technical summaries for management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: First degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience: 0 to 2 years

Practical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word). Soft Skills and Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
