Mina Furniture is looking for a qualified and experienced Quality Control Officer to ensure that all furniture products meet the company’s quality standards before production completion, packaging, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the company’s overall financial operations and accounting activities.
Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Monitor daily cash receipts, payments, bank transactions, and expenses.
Control branch sales, receivables, payables, and outstanding debts.
Monitor the profitability of each branch and the overall business.
Establish strong internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and unnecessary expenses.
Supervise accountants and cashiers and ensure accurate financial records.
Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and gross profit margins.
Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations.
Prepare clear monthly financial reports and present findings to the General Manager and CEO.
Support business planning, financial decision-making, and expansion strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
–10 years of relevant professional experience, including financial management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Excellent Excel and accounting software skills.
Experience in manufacturing, retail, inventory management, or multi-branch businesses is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High integrity, confidentiality, discipline, and accountability.
