Sacon Trading PLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Packhouse Section Head to join our team in Addis Ababa.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field

At least 1 year of relevant experience in fruits and vegetables handling, packing, or packhouse operations

Good knowledge of product sorting, grading, packing, and quality control

Good organizational, communication, and team management skills

Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and product quality

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Main Duties:

Supervise daily fruits and vegetables sorting, grading, and packing activities

Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications

Monitor proper product handling and minimize waste

Ensure packhouse cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices

Coordinate and guide packhouse workers to ensure efficient workflow

Monitor packing materials, supplies, and daily activities

Report operational issues and provide regular updates to management

Location: Addis Ababa
