Zayno, a Technest Development PLC product, is a professional advisory marketplace connecting people in Ethiopia and the diaspora with verified experts through video, audio, and text.

The Role

We’re looking for a charismatic Host with a background in theatrical arts and journalism to be the face and voice of Zayno’s content. You’ll lead our advisor interview series, short-form videos, and campaigns, and represent Zayno at events.

Responsibilities

Host and interview Zayno advisors on camera, mainly in Amharic and sometimes in English
Research guests, write sharp questions, and keep content accurate
Write scripts for short videos, plus episode outlines and captions
Deliver scripted and unscripted segments for social media, ads, and events
Represent Zayno at events, launches, and partner activations

Requirements

Background in theatrical arts and journalism (strong experience in one, working knowledge of the other)
Strong stage presence, voice, and improvisation skills
Strong interviewing, scriptwriting, and storytelling skills
Fluent Amharic and good English
Comfortable on camera and in front of live audiences

Nice to Have

Hosting, MC, radio, TV, or voice-over experience
Short-form video experience (TikTok, Reels, YouTube)
